May 06, 2010 Q: can I get Excel installed on Windows Vista? I have multiple sheet Excel documents but they won't open in Wokrs on my Windows Vista PC. My Windows XP laptop has Excel 2002. Download Microsoft Excel for Windows. Free and safe download. Download the latest version of the top software, games, programs and apps in 2018. No not unless the OEM company you buy the computer from has it as a package deal. But no there is no retail version of Windows Vista that comes with. Download microsoft excel free for windows vista - Microsoft Excel Viewer 1.0: Look at Microsoft Excel documents without having the program, and much more programs.
I have spent way too much time trying to figure this out and have not been able to completely install photodraw on my Vista operating commputer. This is what I have discovered so far. By removing the import and export filters for JPEG files in the registry, I was able to use photodraw for files that were smaller than 2 KB. What I just told you took me two weeks to figure out! Pictures that were taken with my old camera, work just fine but anything larger thatn 2 KB, an error screen pops up that says that the file I was trying to open, 'May be damamged'. I'm giving up on the idea of using the photodraw with vista and will probably end up buying Adobe photoshop. As far as I know, Microscoft Office is NOT included in any version of Windows Vista.
Microscoft Office 2007 is frequently found 'pre-loaded' on new computers shipped with Vista, but when you start any OFFICE program, you will be asked to register the program which starts a trial use timer. I believe that OFFICE will quit working after 30 days or so if you do not formally purchase it ($$$).
Note: Microsoft WORKS may be included, but WORKS and OFFICE are not the same product; WORKS has simplified functionality but may meet your home or small business needs. PowerPoint is part of Microsoft Office, which you have to pay for, so it is separate from Vista or XP or any other operating system. Basic Windows Vista is rubbish anyway and you shouldn't get it, if you want Vista make sure you get at least Home Premium edition or you're just wasting your money. If you just want PowerPoint, you can either buy Microsoft Office (availably in all good computer shops, as well as online shops like Amazon, Play.com, etc), or you can get a similar free alternative called OpenOffice.Org, which has a free version (its all available to download from www.openoffice.org).
